TARGETING PERSONS INVOLVED IN ACTIVITIES THAT THREATEN THE PEACE, SECURITY, AND STABILITY IN THE WEST BANK. 

Sanctions Israelis without due process, ignoring freedom of speech, and casting aside civil rights.  Can subjectively target Jews who speak up.

Provides for financial sanctions and a visa ban on the person sanctioned.

On-going activly supporting sanctioning Israelis:

Result:  Israelis are targeted without due process, reputations smeared, and financially crippled.

ISRAEL SECURITY ASSISTANCE SUPPORT ACT / H.R. 8369 

House of Representatives action introduced May 14, 2024 by Ken Calvert (R-CA-41) / Not Yet Law

NO FEDERAL FUNDS MAY BE USED TO WITHHOLD, HALT, REVERSE, OR CANCEL THE DELIVERY OF DEFENSE ARTICLES OR DEFENSE SERVICES TO ISRAEL 

Sanctions The Department of Defense and the State Department shall ensure prompt delivery of all defense articles and services expected to be delivered to Israel in FY2024 and in FY2025  

Result:  Israeli to be ensured to be able to purchase military goods and services once enacted.

MILITARY AID TO ISRAEL
Israel receives $3.3Billion in military aid from the US per year. 

This money is earmarked
only to be spent in the US on military purchases such as airplanes and weaponry. 

Because of this restriction, the money is essentially recycled from the US to the US via Israel, thus creating jobs in the US. 

A side benefit for the US is that technology advancements and improvements by Israel are shared between Israel and the US -
very valuable to the US.

Economics of Business
 
The US and Israel trade an estimated $50 Billion annually in goods and services with the US importing more than export.
