Position Overview
The Israel Conference™ is hiring a multi-faceted and highly organized COO / Director who will support the planning, evaluating, and executing of all programs and events and communication.
This role involves extensive coordination, communications, and a sense of logistics, requiring someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and mission-driven.
The position is office-based in Brentwood / West Los Angeles, California with flexibility in hours, daily, typically commencing at 9amPT. Remote or hybrid work is not desirable.
Involvement

Marketing & Communications experience developing and executing marketing campaigns across digital, social, and email channels.

Social Media strategies skill in developing and executing including content creation and campaign coordination.

Program Management and Team Management experience.

Event Management experience coordinating events with attention to logistics and communication.

Partnerships and Collaboration ability to build and manage relationships with external partners and sponsors.

Strategic Thinking and taking Initiative ability to work independently, translate abstract ideas into actionable plans, and contribute as a strategic, solutions-oriented team member.

Startup & Entrepreneurship Ecosystem experience working with startups or demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and innovation.

Proactive and Adaptable in accomplishing results despite competing deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
Podcast Production and Promotion
-
Assist in producing and managing the podcast program
-
Coordinate communication with participants in the US and Israel
-
Support scheduling, materials preparation, and follow-up
-
Engage in post-production and video-editing with the team
-
Actively involved in social-media promotion
-
Thoughtful sponsorship development
Communications and Administration
-
At ease using a CRM to maintain accurate information and record interactions
-
Engage with team for website updates and social media content
-
Assist leadership with all sponsorship efforts including sponsor research, briefings, acknowledgments, and on-going stewardship
-
Draft, proof, and manage a high volume of customized email communications using email management software and our CRM

Enjoy managing the details of creatively presenting Israel business
Sponsorship / Corporate / Foundations
-
Sourcing and engaging with aligned organizations for sponsorship
-
Assist in preparing marketing materials - content and format
-
Presentation skills
Event Planning and Execution
-
Support the team with all stages of event planning including preparation of marketing materials, run of show documents, presentations, social media management, and sponsor emails
-
Coordinate guest and speaker outreach, RSVPs, follow-ups, and happy attention to data tracking
-
Research new potential guests and attendees, update guest lists, and prepare face sheets
-
Liaise with venues, vendors, presenters, moderators, and partners
-
Manage logistics on-site at events, ensuring smooth execution
-
Prepare post-event surveys, summaries, reports, and data insights
Qualifications
-
Minimum 2 years of experience in related operations including event planning, program coordination,and social media / tech savvy understanding.

Solid use of computer applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other software tools)
-
At ease with research using AI and organizing information
-
Familiar with Israeli business and tech
-
BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as Communications, Business Administration, Public Relations, or Computer Science
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-
Fluency in English and strong writing skills; Hebrew speaking skills are appreciated but not mandatory
-
Strong grasp of current events related to Israel and world-wide business
-
Highly organized with strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail
-
Team oriented, adaptable, and capable of managing multiple deadlines
-
Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with C-level speakers, participants, sponsors, media, and partners
-
Working Knowledge of Social Media platforms / advanced skills a bonus
-
Good grasp of database and organization of information using a CRM
Schedule and Work Environment

Office based role in Brentwood / West Los Angeles (90025 zip code)
-
Full time with typical work hours starting at 9:00 am daily, although coordination of meetings with partners in Israel may necessitate occasional early morning availability
Salary Range

Commensurate with experience.
