How Ben & Jerry’s Israel beat politics and distributes delicious ice cream throughout Israel in grocery stores and scoop shops.

Ben & Jerry's Israel won a long fight with Unilever's independent Ben & Jerry's US Board in order to ensure that, as an Israeli company, no discrimination would take place despite pressure from the US operations to restrict distribution.
Ben & Jerry's Israel is owns the exclusive Israeli trademark, manufacturing facility, and distribution rights to sell throughout Israel. To distinctively separate operations, the pints manufactured at the Be'er Tuvia plant feature prominent Hebrew and Arabic labels rather than standard international English packaging.
Ben & Jerry's Israel is launching a new special flavor called 'Milk & Honey' in support of the local dairy farms in Israel and as a symbol of independence after overcoming the attempted international boycotts. The pints are available in local Israeli grocery stores and Ben & Jerry's Israel scoop shops.
Ben & Jerry's Israel also produces limited run specialty ice-cream around holidays in Israel such as for Passover with a flavor called Charoset made with furits, nuts, and wine as well as a flavor called Matzah Crunch featuring chocolate-covered matzah pieces.
As the international Ben & Jerry's brand undergoes a massive spin-off from Unilever into the new Magnum Ice Cream Company, the Israeli arm remains completely unaffected and operations continue autonomously.
