Yaacov Agam is a kinetic visual artist visionary changed how we see everything. Art changed depending upon the angle of your vision. Agam's art is famous for the Tel Aviv 'Fire and Water Fountain in Dizengoff Square as well as his installations in Paris, New York, and the Vatican.
Agam passed away on June 21, 2026 at the colorful age of 98 and leaves his Yaacov Agam Museum in Rishon LeZion where he was born on May 11, 1928 as Yaacov Gibstein, taking the name Agam as an homage to his Israeli roots and nature as he entered the world of Art, after training at the Bezalel academy of Art and Design.
