Tigo Energy

Tigo Energy
Tigo Energy was founded in 2007 in Los Gatos, California by a group of Silicon Valley technologists. The team recognized the theoretical problem created by the simple interconnection of PV modules and set out to apply their expertise in process control, silicon component design, system architecture, software and communications to develop a solution. To guide much of the early R&D, the team researched the practical implications of the problems, viewing module-level data from systems with many different technologies in several geographies. They determined that while the opportunity to improve system output was tangible, a unique technical break-though was required to maximize performance.

Since that time, Tigo Energy has grown - expanding operations in US, across Europe, Japan, Korea and the Middle East. The company has introduced the Tigo Energy Maximizer Solution for utility scale, commercial and residential systems. While the product offering has evolved, the team has stayed focused on making solar energy more affordable and manageable, contributing to the rapid percentage increase of renewable sources in the global energy mix. Tigo Energy is a technology provider, augmenting the current PV value chain with new capabilities that will increase the adoption of PV solar. The patented Tigo Energy Maximizer Solution brings up to 20% more energy output by maximizing power output of individual modules; active system management with panel level visibility and advanced performance analytics; and enhanced safety with arc prevention and system deactivation. The key technology break-though ensures these benefits are achieved with maximum reliability and conversion efficiency while minimizing incremental costs. Tigo Energy works closely with leaders in the PV market to ensure interoperability and optimization with the most recognized inverter and module products. Look for Tigo Energy technology to be integrated in the module junction-boxes from major OEMs in 2010.

Stage Two Consulting

Stage Two Consulting
Stage Two Consulting is a strategic marketing & media relations firm specializing in consumer technology.

To survive in this new space you must do more than communicate to customers, you must participate with them. You must have a representative actively engaging your customers, otherwise they will hold the conversation without you (hint: they already are).

Today, informational democracy is the institution of the day. Its leaders: anyone with an Internet connection empowered by the tools made available in the space of New Media. All out there, right now - in chat rooms, commenting on blogs, twittering away. Either trashing a product or service, reading on someone's blog about a better one, or posting evangelical praise and recruiting believers on their Facebook pages. In the 90's the Internet gave you a new means of reaching out to the world. Today, that world is reaching back - are you ready for them?

Stage Two's methodology for accomplishing this: expand the concept of PR to fully include product marketing as an outsourced service. Stage Two believes this begins with product design continues through messaging and positioning strategy, and extends into public, new media, and blogger relations. We help build the product, create a voice, and manage the brand's reputation. This new methodology means a new kind of media relations company.
