 | Izhar Shay - Canaan Partners | THINGS THAT GO CLICK | As head of Canaan's Israel operations since 2005, Izhar Shay focuses on building great companies in communications and mobility, software, clean technologies and digital media. He also seeks key investments in medical devices. Izhar led Canaan's investments in LiveU, Efficient Finance, EnStorage and N-trig. Izhar also oversees Canaan's local involvement in other Israeli companies.
With more than 20 years of operational experience as a successful entrepreneur, Izhar was previously Chairman and CEO of V-Secure Technologies, which he grew to a leading position in the intrusion prevention market. The company was acquired by Radware (RDWR) in November 2005. Prior to V-Secure, Izhar was CEO and co-founder of Business Layers, a Canaan portfolio company. Izhar led Business Layers from startup to a dominant player position in the identity management market, until it was acquired by Netegrity (NETE) in December 2003. Izhar was previously VP of Business Development with international investment firm The BRM Group.
Izhar holds a B.Sc. in Electronics Engineering from the Technion Institute in Haifa, Israel. He was a paratrooper in the Israeli army. Izhar is involved in various volunteer activities related to the education of young students in Israel. He serves on the board of directors of Snunit, a nonprofit organization, specializing in integrating technology and the Internet into Israel's elementary schools. Izhar is also a member of the Friends of Israel Sci-Tech Schools organization. He writes a weekly column at Globes, and in his free time he dabbles in amateur video production.

Meir has a high tech background in various industries including Telecom, Media Service Providers, Advertising, Internet Content, and Home Entertainment. Meir was the Founder and CEO at Mediacomp and VSoft. Meir holds 5 US patents and graduated Magna Cum Laude from Tel Aviv University with a MSC in Computer Science and BSc in Computer Science and Mathematics.

| Sharon Rechter - BabyFirstTV | THINGS THAT GO CLICK | Sharon Rechter, along with business partner, Guy Oranim, conceptualized and co-founded BabyFirstTV. In her role as executive vice president, she leads the business development and marketing activities for the company with a clear passion to bring quality, new educational programming to families of babies and toddlers.
Rechter has a broad background in television programming and recently served as the vice president and head of operations for The Israeli Network (the Israeli television channel in the U.S.). She was responsible for the general management of the network, and focused on areas including business development, advertising and subscriptions. Before entering the television broadcast industry, Rechter headed the strategic planning department at GNS Advertising in Israel where she was responsible for developing strategic plans for a variety of lifestyle brands. Rechter received her B.A. in business administration from the Arison School of Business and her L.L.B in law from the Radziner School of Law, both at The Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya in Israel.

A veteran of the media, marketing and public relations industries, Andy has over 34 years of experience in all facets of marketing and corporate communications. He started his career in the marketing department of a professional sports team in his native Philadelphia at age 14 and has been at it ever since.
Andy holds a B.S. in Journalism, with a concentration in advertising, from Temple University in Philadelphia where he often serves as guest lecturer. A telecommuting pioneer since 1989, Andy calls Del Mar, CA home, where he overlooks the famed Del Mar race track and enjoys a white and blue water view of the Pacific Ocean along with his oversized 10,000 bottle wine collection.
He is married to Dr. Helene Malabed, with whom he shares an active lifestyle and a love of wine, travel, dining, and technology.

 | Ariel Galinsky - LiveU | THINGS THAT GO CLICK | As the Vice President for Business and Corporate Development Mr. Galinsky is managing all market facing interactions of LiveU in the Americas. His goal is expediting the democratization of Live Broadcasting. Prior to that Mr. Galinsky was a strategy and finance advisor and interim executive to technology driven ventures. Mr. Galinsky was also the co-founder of TestU (acquired by STI) an online education company in which he served as EVP for Corporate Development. Prior to TestU, Mr. Galinsky was a strategy consultant with PWC Telecommunications Strategy Group and the Market Development Director at Geotek Communications, a pioneering wireless telecommunications company. Before that, Mr. Galinsky was a Corporate Finance Analyst at Lehman Brothers in New-York where he was involved in numerous multimillion dollar transactions involving public debt and equity.
Mr. Galinsky holds a B.A. with honors from the Wharton School of Business and an M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
